This is a mural installation dedicated to my beloved dog Cleo, who died on this day. The Constellations shown were in the western sky at the time she died, 5AM. It is a deeply personal piece and also an experimental one. It further explores my interest in the sky as a portal to the spiritual but I used the heaviest texture I have ever made. The ethereal theme of transcendence and the earthiness of the texture seem incompatible. This duality interests me.
