The paintings in this floor were inspired by the marble intarsia floor in San Marco Cathedral in Venice, Italy. I used the geometric purity as a base and added words and imagery. The Lime plaster base absorbs paint to give a look similar to frescoes. This was my first experiment in painted flooring. Cap d"Ail, France.
